The Fundamentals Intensive

An intensive two-day audition class designed to leave actors feeling deeply empowered, with the tools and mindset necessary to book work.

Audition Mastery takes a process, rather than result-oriented approach to auditioning. By giving the actor a wide range of tools they can rely on, we aim to transform not only an actor's approach, but their entire mindset around the audition process to a deeply empowering one.

COMEDY MASTERY -
Darren Gilshenan

This incredibly fun 2 day Intensive with AACTA award-winning and Logie-nominated actor, Darren Gilshenan, will provide actors with a deeper understanding of the craft of comedy and more importantly, give them a reliable set of tools to bring out the funny in anything and get the laughs!

6 WEEK INTRODUCTION TO SCREEN ACTING

In this 6 week course, explore the essentials of Screen Technique to find greater truthfulness, playfulness and confidence on camera. Grace provides a warm environment in which to learn whilst also giving detailed, constructive feedback, tailored to you, and bringing fun and lightness back into acting.

Students will film a scene every week and work on a new script every 2 weeks.

CASTING MASTERY -
Stevie Ray from McGregor Casting

This 1 day Casting Masterclass with Stevie Ray will be run similar to a real casting, only Stevie will be there to give you an inside view of how it works. He will guide, nurture and give you feedback. Before the start of class you will be given a scene to prepare.

This is an exclusive opportunity to work with Stevie in one full day intensive casting workshop. It’s a perfect opportunity to show him your skills and learn from one of the most approachable and experienced Casting Directors in the business.

Natalie Wall is an independent Casting Director currently affiliated with Barrett Casting. In this Masterclass, Natalie will work with actors to further their understanding of what Casting Directors are looking for in the audition room

THE ART OF EMOTIONAL MASTERY: A Physical Approach to Acting

Transform your acting through a physical approach to authentic emotions. PEM Studios teaches innovative acting methods based on biological emotional processes connected to organic impulses in the body as well as subconscious processes that serve to unlock the artist's limitations and restrictions.
