MCGREGOR CASTING’S WILL PEARCE

What you will get:

In this Masterclass, Will will work with actors to further their understanding of what Casting Directors are looking for in the audition room.

The workshop will begin with an open and transparent discussion about anything related to casting, demystifying the process for the actors, and self-tapes vs ‘in-the-room’ auditions. The class will then proceed like a real casting session of prepared scenes, with open feedback amongst the group, and Will giving insight into what CDs seek in the audition.

This is a perfect opportunity to show Will your skills and learn from an approachable and experienced Casting Director. Actors will choose from a database of diverse scenes Will has collated from previous film/tv projects he’s worked on, to prepare in advance.

Will Pearce is a Casting Director living and working on Gadigal Land, Sydney. His casting career started in London, where he worked with some of the UK’s top casting directors.

Will joined McGregor Casting in 2017 and has since worked on many local and international projects. Credits as Casting Associate include ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’, ‘Babyteeth’, ‘Foe’, ‘Evil Dead Rise’, ‘The Unusual Suspects’, ‘Savage River’, ‘The Twelve’, ‘Apples Never Fall’, ‘The Wilds’, ‘Fisk’ & ‘The Deb’. Credits as Casting Director include ‘The Twelve’ S3, ‘Mother & Son’ S2, ‘Mix Tape’, ‘Fisk’ S3, ‘Evil Dead Burn’, and ‘The Role Of A Lifetime’.

Will was named a Rising Talent as a Casting Director for 2024 by IF Magazine and is an active member of The Casting Guild of Australia.
